Requesting your credit report — free or reviewed.
You are legally entitled to your report free of charge — we say that first. FIAON is the route for everyone who wants to hand over obtaining it, the plain-language explanation and the check of every entry: €74 one-off, no subscription required.
Request it yourself or have it obtained?
Self-disclosure under Art. 15 GDPR costs nothing and delivers raw data from each bureau separately; the FIAON route costs €74 one-off and delivers SCHUFA, KSV and CRIF from one hand, every line explained, every entry checked against Section 31 BDSG and the deletion deadlines, plus an action plan. Our free tools prepare the free route.
How it works
Open an account and place the order in two minutes; FIAON obtains the data copies within a few days to four weeks; plain language and review within 24 hours of receipt; an action plan and, if you wish, the implementation. Self-disclosure is neutral and does not change your score.
- No success fee, no hidden costs
- Also KSV (Austria) and CRIF (Switzerland)
- No deletion guarantee — justified entries stay
Frequently asked questions
Is a credit report really possible free of charge?
Yes. The data copy under Art. 15 GDPR is free by law — at SCHUFA, KSV and CRIF. It contains all stored data including reporting date and reporting body. What the bureaus charge for is only the packaging (a credit certificate to pass on) — and what FIAON charges for is the work around it: obtaining, explaining, checking.
What does the credit report via FIAON cost?
€74, one-off. Included: obtaining your reports, preparation in plain language, the check of every entry for lawfulness and expiry, and an action plan. No success fee, no subscription required — serious work does not charge per “deleted entry”.
How long until I have my report?
The application takes about two minutes. Depending on the bureau and the route, the credit bureaus deliver the data copy within a few days to about four weeks (legal maximum: one month). As soon as it is there, you see preparation and review in your customer area — usually within 24 hours.
What is the difference between a data copy and a credit certificate?
The data copy is for YOU: complete, with every entry and every detail — and free. The credit bureaus' credit certificate is for THIRD PARTIES (landlords, say): abridged, meant for showing, and paid. Anyone who wants to understand or change their situation needs the data copy.
Does SCHUFA see that I am requesting a report?
Self-disclosure is neutral: it is not stored as an enquiry that other banks see, and it does not change your score. You can request it as often as you like.
Does FIAON also check KSV (Austria) and CRIF (Switzerland)?
Yes. FIAON works across the whole DACH region and obtains the reports of all three bureaus from one hand. The rights are comparable: in Austria the GDPR applies directly, Switzerland has its own rights of access and rectification under the revised DSG.
Can FIAON guarantee that entries are deleted?
No — and nobody can, seriously. Justified, lawfully reported entries stay until the deadline expires. What FIAON does: hold every entry against the legal requirements and challenge what can be challenged. You can recognise providers with deletion guarantees as not serious.
