First know, then act.
Twenty tools, each answering a question that otherwise costs money or weeks. Everything runs in your browser – nothing is stored, no sign-up, no enquiry at a credit bureau.
Entries and claims
Know what is stored – and what can go: request the data copy, check an entry, write deletion request and objection, calculate deletion deadline and limitation, court payment order deadline, check debt collection costs and reminder fees, reply to the debt collector.
Loans and household
Calculate before you sign: loan calculator, debt consolidation calculator, debt check, headroom calculator, instalment plan with offer letter, debt-free plan, overdraft calculator, attachment calculator 2026.
Card and account
Assess realistically instead of hoping: card check, card cost comparison and the basic account helper with the route to BaFin.
The twenty tools
- Request your data copy – What do the credit bureaus hold about me? Generates the finished letter under Article 15 GDPR — for SCHUFA, KSV and CRIF, free instead of a paid subscription.
- Can my entry be challenged? – Can this entry be deleted? Five questions, one honest assessment under Section 31 BDSG and case law.
- Deletion deadline calculator – When is my entry gone by itself? Deletion date to the day — with the 100-day rule and the six-month period after insolvency.
- Limitation check – Do I still have to pay this old claim? Checks the regular limitation period and what interrupts it.
- Debt collection cost checker – May the debt collector demand that much? Compares the claim with the statutory caps.
- Loan calculator – What does this loan really cost? Monthly instalment, total cost, repayment schedule — and the instalment at the two-thirds rate.
- Debt consolidation calculator – Keep paying or consolidate? Old loans and overdraft calculated against a new offer — with the early repayment fee.
- Debt check – How serious is my situation? Debt ratio and free income — with an honest traffic light and the next steps.
- Monthly headroom calculator – How much instalment can I carry? A household calculation the way a bank does it.
- Card check – Which credit card is realistic? Debit, prepaid or a real limit — what works today and what opens the next step.
- Deletion request & objection – How do I get the entry removed? Choose the reason, enter the key facts — two finished letters to the credit bureau and the creditor (Article 17 GDPR, Section 31 BDSG).
- Court payment order deadline calculator – By when do I have to object? Enter the date of service — the last day for objection, to the day including public holidays.
- Reply to the debt collector – What do I reply to the debt collector? Dispute, demand evidence under Section 13a RDG, reject costs or plead limitation — as a letter.
- Reminder fee checker – May the reminder cost that much? Recalculates what a creditor may charge for reminders — and drafts the rejection.
- Instalment plan calculator – Which instalment will the creditor accept? From claim and headroom the instalment that holds — with the offer letter including waiver of interest and reporting.
- Debt-free plan – In which order do I become debt-free? Avalanche or snowball, simulated month by month — date, interest, order.
- Overdraft calculator – What does my permanent overdraft cost? Interest per year, an instalment loan to pay it off, reduction in fixed instalments — three routes side by side.
- Attachment calculator 2026 – What is left to me in an attachment? Exempt amount under Section 850c ZPO and P-Konto protection — values from 1 July 2026.
- Basic account helper – Basic account refused or no reply? Ten-day deadline, permissible grounds for refusal, reminder to the bank and the route to BaFin.
- Card cost comparison – Deposit, prepaid or debit? Three card routes calculated over three years — including the deposit that sits idle.
Frequently asked questions
What do the FIAON tools cost?
Nothing. All tools are free, require no sign-up and no e-mail address. The calculations run in your browser — nothing is transmitted and nothing is stored.
Do the tools replace professional help?
No. They give a well-founded first assessment under the applicable rules — they do not provide a binding check of your individual case. In serious over-indebtedness the first route is free, state-recognised debt counselling.
Where do the rules in the tools come from?
From the published sources: the code of conduct of the credit bureaus (2024 version), Section 31 BDSG, Articles 15 and 17 GDPR, Section 6a PAngV, Sections 195 ff. and 500 ff. BGB, the RVG for debt collection costs and the case law of the Federal Court of Justice and the European Court of Justice. Every tool names its basis at the bottom of the page.
Why does FIAON provide this for free?
Because the first question — what is stored about me, and what of it can be challenged? — is one everyone should be able to answer themselves. Anyone who then wants someone to take over obtaining, checking and enforcing already knows us.
